Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the flushing capacity for a head lamp by installing a nozzle, which provides a projecting pattern in a fan shape, at an angle below 40 deg. to the surface of a head lamp lens, and in a position not interfering with the illuminating performance of said lamp. CONSTITUTION:A fan-shape injecting nozzle 2a is installed at an angle below 40 deg. to the lens surface of a head lamp 1 and in a position not interfering with the illuminating performance of the head lamp 1. Furthermore, the nozzle 2a is installed in such a way that the cleaning fluid injected from the nozzle hits at the upper part of the center of the head lamp 1, since the intense light part is distributed to the part slightly higher than the lens center due to the luminous intensity distribution characteristics of the lens of the head lamp 1.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Application of the Invention] The present invention relates to an injection type headlamp cleaner cleaning device for a vehicle. In order to improve the cleaning effect, the spray angle and amount of spray from a nozzle are suppressed to intensively clean the head. The present invention relates to an injection type headlamp cleaning device for a vehicle, which is suitable for cleaning sludge adhering to a lamp lens, particularly for cleaning a flat lens surface of a square or irregularly shaped headlamp.

The conventional spray type Hedra lamp cleaner has a spray angle of 60°.
At ~80 degrees ■ Because the spray pattern used was a full cone type or an empty cone type, the cleaning liquid sprayed onto the headlamp lens was dispersed before colliding with the lens, and the cleaning liquid particles were further atomized by air resistance. In particular, when it comes to stubborn dirt such as mud that has adhered to the headlamp lens surface and dried, the cleaning performance is extremely low because the jet energy is low, and water is being sprayed on the sludge that has adhered to the lens, making it more difficult to clean. This had the disadvantage of creating a condition where mud and dust were likely to adhere.

The purpose of the present invention is to have a flat (fan-shaped) spray pattern to minimize the phenomenon of atomization of cleaning liquid particles caused by air resistance, etc., and to concentrate the energy of the cleaning liquid that hits the headlamp lens, thereby making the headlamp even brighter. To provide a headlamp cleaning device with improved cleaning performance.

It is known that the ability to remove mud adhering to a headlamp using a spray cleaning method is proportional to the impact energy per unit area of the headlamp lens of the cleaning liquid particles sprayed and collided with the lens surface. Therefore, the present invention adopts a method in which the jetting pattern of the headlamp cleaning device nozzle is changed from the conventional full cone type to a flat (fan-shaped) type as shown in FIG.
As shown in the figure, the headlamp lens is sprayed and cleaned at a predetermined angle from the lower front side slightly above the center of the lens at a position that does not interfere with the light projection performance of the lamp. The reason why the light is emitted from the center of the headlamp to the top is that due to the light distribution characteristics of the headlamp lens, the strong light is distributed to the part slightly higher than the center of the lens.

The cleaning conditions in Figure 5 are to keep the discharge pressure and discharge amount constant for each injection nozzle, the angle at which the center line from the lens and nozzle intersect, and the nozzle position with θ as a parameter so that it does not interfere with the light projection performance of the headlamp lens. We moved to different locations and compared the cleanability. In addition, as a means of comparing the cleaning performance, the luminous intensity recovery rate; η was used, and was expressed as the ratio of the luminous intensity (candela) when sludge was attached to the headlamp and the luminous intensity (candela) after spray cleaning. As shown in Figure 5, the cleaning position of the product of the present invention is that A, which sprays the center of the headlamp lens with a fan-shaped spray nozzle, and B, which sprays slightly above the center of the headlamp lens (above 30B), are better. is much higher, especially when θ=
At 20 degrees, it is about 10 times as much as the conventional spray (full cone type), and the A that sprays at the center of the lens with a fan-shaped spoon.
Approximately twice the cleaning performance can be obtained. Furthermore, since the nozzle used in the present invention has a fan-shaped spray pattern and the spray energy collides in a concentrated manner, the initial impact cleaning area against the lens is the shaded area 5a shown in FIG. 6, whereas the cleaning area in the case of a conical pattern is (Shaded area 5b in Fig. 6) is much smaller. However, after the cleaning liquid collides with the lens, the cleaning liquid moves along the upper part of the lens surface or the lower part of the lens surface, and it is possible to obtain a wider cleaning area than the shaded area 5a where it directly collides with the lens surface. In FIG. 5, the θ value indicating the best luminous intensity recovery rate at the nozzle installation position of the present invention is around 20°,
It can be judged that the cleaning performance is high up to about 40 degrees. In the future, vehicle headlamp lenses will have a rectangular shape with a flat lens surface.
Moreover, even if the headlamp lens surface tends to be highly inclined, the product of the present invention can achieve higher cleaning performance, as is clear from the cleaning results in FIG.

According to the present invention, in order to solve the problem of poor cleaning performance of current nozzles, the cleaning liquid sprayed from the nozzle is intensively sprayed in a fan-shaped spray pattern and collides with the headlamp lens surface, so that the sludge that adheres to the headlamp lens when actually driving is removed. Even with large, hard-to-remove mud, the cleaning performance has been significantly improved, and the above problems have been solved at once. In addition, by positioning the nozzle on the headlamp side (a position that does not interfere with the light projection performance of the lamp) and spraying the upper part of the headlamp lens, more powerful cleaning than the conventional spray cleaning method is possible.
