（１）フレーム７に揺動自在に枢着された支持体３３に
回転自在に軸支され、エンジン４１によって回転駆動さ
れる駆動ローラー６３を備え、前記支持体３３の揺動作
動により前記駆動ローラー６３をタイヤ２５の外周面に
当接自在に設けた自転車用補助エンジン装置において、
１端を前記フレーム７に枢着され、他端を前記支持体３
３に枢着された支持杆７５を、互に折り曲げ自在に枢着
された第１杆８３と第２杆８５とに分割して設け、前記
第１杆８３と前記第２杆８５とを折り曲げる方向に付勢
する弾機８７を設けたことを特徴とする・自転車補助エ
