Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the identification of a ticket or the like from back as well by applying a heat sensitive printing on the surface of the back of a roll paper for double side heat sensitive printing, which is cut off to a specified dimension, by means of a surface/back printing section comprising a heat sensitive head and a platen roll. CONSTITUTION:A printing section comprising a back printing heat sensitive head 17 and a platen roll 18 thereof is provided next to a printing section comprising a surface printing thermal head 15 and a platen roll 16 in such a manner as to approach each other in the position so that one ticket can stay across the printing sections to shorten the printing time. To uniform the ticket feeding speed, both the platen rolls are driven by the same drive source. A paper is delivered from a double side heat sensitive paper roll 11 and cut off with a cutting edge 14 to a fixed dimension. Then, it undergoes a double side printing and is issued with informations printed on both the surface thereof.

項を印刷しようとすると、固定印版と印刷ハンマの組合
わせを裏面用にもう一組設けねばならず、装置が複雑と
なるとともに空間も多くとるという欠点があった。
