The rubber tires 1 that are continuously fed out in this way are cut into a certain length, and both ends are connected to form an endless track.
Since the folded parts are used to engage the front and rear sprockets of the agricultural machine, it is necessary to form engagement holes at regular intervals in the center of the rubber tire 1 in which the teeth of the sprockets engage.

The device of the present invention is configured as described above, and now the first
As shown in the figure, the mold 3 fits into the unnecessary part 2 of the stopped tire 1 and cools the unused part 2 to about -50 to -70°C. When the mold 3 descends one step further, it is cooled. The hardened and extremely brittle unnecessary portion 2 is easily broken and falls, after which an engaging hole is formed to engage with the teeth of the sprocket.

As described above, when the unnecessary part removal device of this invention is used, a mold that has been cooled to an extremely low temperature by low-temperature liquefied gas is applied to the unnecessary part of a rubber molded product such as a tire, and then the mold is cooled to an extremely low temperature. Since the mold is further lowered to destroy and remove the weakened unnecessary parts, even soft elastic materials that are difficult to remove at room temperature can be easily removed.
