DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a seedling material for growing rice, dragon vegetables, plants, grass, and other cultivated plants, and particularly to a material for raising seedlings that has characteristics favorable for mechanical planting such as rice transplanters. It is.

Currently, most of the rice seedlings are planted mechanically, and for this reason, the seedlings are raised in a nursery in a container of a predetermined size (approximately 60 x 30 x 3 cm), which is about half filled with the top of the bed.

However, in order to use this type of flooring, the flooring must be placed in a container with holes in the bottom, lined with old newspapers, etc., and the surface must be evened out, making preparations time-consuming and difficult.
There are disadvantages such as the surrounding area becomes dirty with crystalline sewage due to watering after sowing, and the heavy weight (3 kg when dry, around 5 kg after watering) makes transportation difficult. %, this transportation, raising and lowering, etc., is required several times for each container (seedbed) 2i, and approximately 22 seedbeds are required per container, so 1
It is a difficult task to move the seedbeds in Machibu's rice fields 1,000 to 2,000 times. Moreover, it is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain large quantities of high quality flooring.

Therefore, various types of seedbeds or seedbed materials have been developed that are made of plastic materials or the like, singly or in combination, to replace these heavy and difficult-to-handle beds.

However, some of these materials have problems with the materials themselves, such as being too light and causing the seedlings to float up after rice planting (plastic products), or the seeds and hair roots rotting due to the resin content and heat of fermentation (wood chips, unfermented rice straw, etc.). Moreover, it is difficult to collect uniform materials in large quantities, and manufacturing is time-consuming and costly.
There are disadvantages such as poor mechanical properties and difficulty in applying sufficient pressure to the roots, so that there is currently no material that can be used as a seedbed or seedbed material in place of the bed.

Therefore, the present inventors conducted various research to develop a seedbed material that is easy to handle and can be used as a substitute for the bed.The inventors of the present invention have found that the main ingredient is piece, which is the lees of the pressed pulp of sugar cane, and that the modified materials of Kff are used as the main ingredient. We have completed a seedling bed material for raising seedlings that does not have the above-mentioned drawbacks and has extremely excellent performance.

Seedling material for raising seedlings of the present invention (hereinafter referred to as "seedling material") (1)
Figure 1 and ! As shown in Figure 2, the main component is 1 piece (2), which is supplemented with 1IIR smoked charcoal (3) and waste paper (4).
) is mixed in and formed into a plate shape, and its greatest feature is that it uses pieces as the fibrous material. The reason why the seedling box (5) was formed into a plate shape is to use the seedling box (5), which is conventionally used for planting beds, as a container, as shown in Fig. 3.

'This piece refers to the ffD lees of sugar cane produced in large quantities in Okinawa, Taiwan, etc., especially the pressed lees of the shaft part, and is light and extremely fine (around 1% or less in length).
It is a fibrous stutter. Particularly in Taiwan, where processing is concentrated in several factories, homogeneous products can be obtained in extremely large quantities.

In this way, since the pieces are originally fine, there is no need to cut them into small pieces and crush them in order to send them to the rice transplanter, as with rice straw, and there is a lot of residual content such as sugar (nitrogen 0). 8%, 0.4% phosphorus, 11% potash, etc.) Furthermore, although the reason is unknown, the fermentation heat does not damage the yuzu or hair roots, making it an extremely ideal material. On the other hand, Bakasu, which is the outer husk of sugar cane, or pressed lees, which is a mixture of Bakasu and pieces, has long and hard Pacas fibers that must be cut and crushed, and fermentation problems make it difficult to use. be. (Of course, as a practical matter, this Pacas fiber will inevitably be mixed in the piece, but the amount is extremely small and can be ignored.) By the way, this excellent seedling material Even pieces that have these qualities have poor formability, water permeability, and water retention.
In this state, it is difficult to use it as a nursery material.

Therefore, in the present invention, in order to improve these points, 1) smoked charcoal (especially shell smoked charcoal, which is easily available in large quantities) that has breathability, water retention, and bactericidal (adsorption) action; The piece was mixed with waste paper that gives it shape retention properties. It is preferable to use the ratio of 75f. If the amount of rice husk smoked charcoal is less than this, the effect will not be sufficient, and if it is too much, it will damage the roots and inhibit growth, and the same is true for waste paper.

Therefore, compared to the soil bed per seedling box (about 3K9), the weight of the seedling box (5K) can be reduced by a single bar, which is about 4K, making it significantly lighter. It also becomes extremely easy to handle. It is permissible to mix vermiculite, perlite, masado, and other soils and minerals into the pieces (approximately 20%) to the extent that it does not deviate from the above purpose. However, it is not preferable to mix in a large amount because moldability is poor and it becomes heavy.

Therefore, as shown in Figure 4, when starch such as wheat flour (about 50 to 1201) was added to the above ratio, the shape retention strength was greatly improved and it could withstand considerable mechanical shock. It was found that this starch substance is nutrient-rich for growing seedlings.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 5, the shape retention strength is further improved by integrating reinforcing paper (7) such as old newspaper on one or both sides of the molding. However, the reinforcing paper on the seeding side may be peeled off during use.

K uses the seedbed material (1) obtained in this way to make a seedbed. The seedbed material (1) is placed in the seedling box (5) shown in Fig. 6, and the seedlings (8) are placed in the sowing machine. By sprinkling water, the rice seeds (8) are neatly arranged and curled, and the smoky charcoal (3) of the seedling material (1) is
The waste paper (4) absorbs water, which in turn penetrates into the pieces, making the whole piece softer and easier for roots to penetrate. Next, as in the case of using bed soil, the rice seeds (8) are covered with soil (9) to the extent of scrapings, and placed in a seedling nursery heated to around 37°C. After 3 days in the seedling grower, the germinated seedlings will grow to about 3 cm. As shown in Figure 7, the rice grows to about <101 and becomes ready for rice transplantation.

The growth rate, or rather the growth rate, is the same as, or slightly faster than, that of conventional seedbeds using beds, and is completely comparable to those grown on beds.

1: Moreover, the germination is even, the rooting is uniform and sufficient, and the leaves are evenly arranged, which is better than when growing on the bed. This is due to the nutrients in the pieces and the fact that 02 is trapped in the gaps between the charcoal and the like.
It is understood that the maintenance of an appropriate amount of moisture in the seedling nursery, and the fact that the main component, Daru Piece, is soft and fine, which helps root growth, collectively bring about good results.

Furthermore, it is much lighter than bed soil, but unlike urethane foam seedling boxes, it does not float up when taken down every day, and since it is formed into a plate shape, it is extremely easy to handle. It has many advantages.

In the above example, unfermented pieces were used as pieces, but
Fermented paper becomes softer and more absorbent, so the amount of charcoal in the waste paper can be reduced. In addition, with the same structure, rose-shaped materials that are not made into plate-like shapes as described above can also be used as nursery soil, potting soil, substitutes, fiE'+', etc.

As detailed above, the seedling bed material of this invention is mainly composed of pieces, mixed with smoked charcoal, peeled waste paper, and starch, and formed into a plate shape. It has remarkable effects, such as eliminating the need for seedlings, having seedling-raising performance equal to or better than that on the bed, and being able to mass-produce materials at low cost.
