【実用新案登録請求の範囲】ドツト印字エレメントを有する印字ハンマを印字行に沿
って複数個並べて設け、これら印字ハンマを印字用紙を
横切る方向に往復運動させ、この往復運動の過程で印字
ハンマを駆動して印字し、１往復で２ドツト印字列を印
字するようにした印字装置において、前記印字ハンマの周囲の温度を測定し、温度値を複数段
階に分け、信号を発生する手段と、上位装置から転送さ
れるドツト印字データを受信する際、１ドツト印字列の
ドツト印字データをカウントする手段と、前記温度測定
信号発生手段からの信号出力に応じて前記カウント手段
との所定カウント比較値を変え、該所定値以上をカウン
トした時信号を発生する手段と、該信号により１ドツト
印字列を前記印字ハンマの１往復で印字するようにした
制御手段とを備え、印字ハンマの１往復で１ドツト印字
