DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention involves feeding a base paint to be sprayed onto the surface of an exterior wall panel of a house, for example, to a paint gun using a pump, mixing it with air for spraying the paint in the gun, The present invention relates to a coating device designed to discharge from the tip.

As shown in Fig. 1, the coating gun in this type of coating equipment has a through hole 2 formed around the periphery of a base paint feed pipe 1, and the paint is sent from a compressor through an air feed path 3. The spraying air is injected into the paint supply pipe 1 through the through holes 2, mixed with the paint, and discharged from the nozzle port 4 at the tip of the gun.

By the way, the paint discharged by this gun is required to dry and solidify quickly in order to improve work efficiency.
For this reason, materials with good drying properties are now used as raw materials for paints.

However, as a result, the paint tends to solidify immediately after being mixed with the air, resulting in a phenomenon in which the solidified material S adheres to the inner wall of the feed pipe 1 near the nozzle port 4.

Therefore, with long-term use, these deposits grow, causing problems such as a gradual decrease in the discharge amount and deterioration of the pattern condition when sprayed onto an external wall panel.

In view of this, the present invention has developed a new and useful means that can reliably prevent paint with good drying performance from solidifying and growing on the inner wall of the paint feed pipe inside the gun. This is what I did.

以下に本発明の一実施例を第2図に基づいて説明する。An embodiment of the present invention will be described below based on FIG. 2.

In the figure, numeral 5 denotes a painting gun, which has the same internal structure as the gun shown in FIG.

Paint, for example, base paint, is fed to this gun 5 through a paint feed pipe 2 connected to a pump p, and paint scattering air from an air compressor C is fed under pressure through an air feed path 3.

This air supply path 3 is provided with an air pressure regulator 6 and a water supply device 7.

The water supply device 7 is for adding moisture to the air.
For example, as shown in Fig. 3, the other end of the water pumping pipe 9, which has one end immersed in water stored in the tank 8, faces the air supply path 3, and the water is pumped up by the back pressure of the air based on the principle of atomization. It is possible to use a structure in which the water in the tank 8 is injected into the feed path 3 in the form of a spray through the pipe 9.

However, the principle of the water supply device does not matter as long as it is a means of adding moisture to the air.

In addition, it is also possible to use a commercially available oiler as it is as a water supply device by pouring water into it.

Therefore, according to this configuration, since the paint scattering air is moistened by the water supply T, even if it is mixed with the paint in the coating gun 5, the moisture prevents the paint from drying prematurely.

Therefore, even if the drying performance of the paint is good, it is possible to reliably prevent the paint from adhering to and growing on the inner wall of the feed pipe 1 inside the painting gun.

As described above (according to the coating apparatus of the present invention), even if a paint with good drying performance is used, it can prevent early solidification and eliminate adhesion and growth inside the gun. By using a paint with good performance, it is possible to maintain high work efficiency and perform stable coating work without fluctuations in the discharge amount over a long period of time, which is a remarkable effect.

In addition, since the structure is simply provided with a water supply device, it is not complicated and has the advantage that it can be easily applied to existing devices.
