Abstract

PURPOSE: To inhibit the adhesion and growth of a paint onto the inside wall of a paint feed pipe inside a coating gun, by arranging a water-feeder in a line for feeding paint-spraying air to humidify the air to be introduced into the coating gun.
CONSTITUTION: A base paint is fed to a coating gun 5 through a paint-feed pipe 2 connected to a pump P, while paint-spraying air is forcedly fed from an air compressor C through an air-feed line 3. The feed line 3 is provided with an air pressure controller 6 and a wate-feeder 7 to humidify the air. Because the air contains moisture, the adhesion and growth of the paint onto the inside wall of the feed pipe inside the coating gun do not occur, even if the paint has a good drying property.
