In order to improve the productivity of arc furnaces, it is extremely important to shorten the power-off time in the trench from tapping to tapping. In other words, constant maintenance time such as repairs after steel tapping and addition of electrodes, as well as electrode breakage, dielectric breakdown, etc. that occur during operation.
An important factor in solving this problem is how to shorten the emergency maintenance time required to deal with water leakage accidents and the like.

However, on the other hand, from the standpoint of pollution prevention, the sides and top of the steelmaking arc furnace are all surrounded by soundproof and dustproof walls, making maintenance of the arc furnace extremely troublesome. For this reason, in conventional arc furnace enclosures for steelmaking, various measures have been taken to make maintenance easier by making the ceiling door of the enclosure as large as possible and opening it wide, or by making the ceiling wall removable. It is being taught. The outline and problems of the conventional enclosure will be described below.

FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 show a case 1 of a conventionally used enclosure (1). In this case, the arc furnace main body (2) is surrounded by a soundproof wall (3), and a trolley-type ceiling soundproof cover (5) that moves on a rail (4) attached to the top of the soundproof wall (3). A dust collection elbow (6) connected to the dust collector is installed on the top of the ceiling soundproof cover (5), and the lower end of the side edge (7) of the ceiling soundproof cover (5) and the soundproof wall (3) are installed. A sand rail device (8) is provided between the top of the sand rail and the top of the sand rail. In this type of enclosure, the entire ceiling moves, and once the ceiling soundproof cover (5) is opened, maintenance of the arc furnace can be done relatively easily using a scrap packet crane (not shown). ) will also move to the position shown by the solid line together with the ceiling soundproof cover (5), so (
(See Fig. 2), the fixed duct (9) is closed, and there is a drawback that dust cannot be collected inside the enclosure. Therefore, for example, if the ceiling soundproof cover (5) is fully opened, the scrap packet (
7) is introduced into the enclosure and the scrap αυ is charged into the arc furnace, the generated gas flows as indicated by the arrow α and is dissipated into the atmosphere from the opening at the top of the enclosure.

In this type, the upper part is opened by approximately the width of the arc furnace main body, so if the half-open door α11 is used, maintenance of the arc furnace can be relatively easily performed using a scrap packet crane (not shown). In the enclosure, when the scrap is charged into the furnace, the half-port door α is open, so the generated exhaust gas is released into the atmosphere through the upper ceiling opening of the enclosure (1), as in Case 1. is dissipated into.

FIG. 5 shows Case 3 of a conventional enclosure. This case is
A dust collector (2) is installed on the top of the enclosure (1) surrounding the arc furnace main body (2), and a scrap packet (t) is installed on the side wall 03.
An opening to introduce the door and a door covering the opening (to) ′α0
'Wo, also put the scrap packet (7) on the ceiling wall 0Φ.
The opening through which the hanging rope αη passes (to) and the opening 0
A panel 09 for opening and closing 81 is provided, and an air curtain device is also provided near the opening, so that when the panel 01 is opened, the flow of exhaust gas (arrow α) generated from inside the furnace during scrap charging is controlled. The liquid is discharged from the direction C in the direction of the suction arrow d, deflected along the inclined flange Q1), and sucked into the suction port of the dust collector. With this method, the ceiling is opened only to the width necessary for the suspension rope αη of the scrap packet It has a structure that makes it possible. In this way, the upper part of the arc furnace is opened and the maintenance of the equipment itself becomes easier, but the removal and installation of the ceiling wall 04) adds time to the maintenance time, and the power-off time is greatly extended, causing the arc This goes against the improvement of furnace productivity.

The hot furnace repair device θ is a worn part (55) of the inner wall surface of the arc furnace.
This is a method for repairing wall surfaces by spraying refractory slurry into a powder mist, and the boss attached to the side wall 03 of the enclosure)
(56), rotating arm (57), spray nozzle (58)
It consists of a pipe (59), etc. A screw is carved on the outer surface of the boss) (56), and a power device (not shown) is used to connect the boss).
By rotating the rotating arm (56) 'e in the direction of the arrow groove, the rotating arm (57) 'e can be raised and lowered in the outward direction of the arrow via the female screw installed in the mounting portion (60) of the rotating arm (57). For spraying, the nozzle (58) is attached to the tip (61) of the swing arm (57) so as to be able to swing in the direction of arrow p. Therefore, there is no need for a person to enter the furnace after the furnace has cooled down, and repairs can be made while hot, and maintenance can be performed in parallel with the electrode addition work immediately after tapping. After completing the furnace repair, the hot furnace repair equipment (6) is rotated upward to the position shown by the two-dot chain line with the rotating arm (57) i, and is evacuated to position q during operation.

As mentioned above, the above-furnace maintenance crane and the spud maintenance crane perform all opening and maintenance work for inspection and repair of the arc furnace and related equipment. In addition, since it can be moved to a predetermined position, inspection and repair work can be carried out in parallel at a predetermined location within the enclosure. In particular, it mechanizes the time-consuming work of adding electrodes and repairing the furnace. By proceeding with the work immediately after steel work, maintenance time can be significantly reduced.

(1) Since all the various maintenance equipment has been installed inside the enclosure, it is necessary to consider making the ceiling wall movable for maintenance as in the past, or installing a large ceiling door to widen the top of the arc furnace. Therefore, the enclosure can have a structure dedicated to its original purpose of soundproofing and dustproofing.

Therefore, for example, the side wall has an opening/closing door that allows scrap packets to be hung and passed from the side, and the ceiling wall has an opening with the minimum width for introducing a scrap packet hanging device, and a ceiling door that opens and closes the opening. By configuring this structure, it is possible to provide an enclosure with great soundproofing and dustproofing effects.

(iii) By mechanizing electrode addition work and furnace repair work, which are regular maintenance during steel tapping, the work can proceed in parallel, significantly reducing the time interval between tapping and the next tapping 1. The productivity of the arc furnace can be completely improved.
