As shown in FIG. 1, a conventional revolver for a microscope includes a fixed member 2 fixed to a lens barrel 1 of a microscope, and a plurality of steel balls 3 mounted on the fixed member 2 so as to be rotatable. A rotating side member 4 having a hole 4a for attaching an objective lens on both sides, a conical recess 4b formed in the center of the inner wall of the rotating side member 4, and a center part of the fixed side member 2. It consists of a steel ball 6 held between a conical concave portion 5a formed on the tip end surface of a screw 5, and a steel ball 6 that rotates around the steel ball 6 when necessary. It was made to rotate.

However, the sliding surface 2a of the fixed side member 2 and the sliding surface 4C of the rotating side member 4 that are in contact with the steel ball 3 are both softer than the steel ball 3, which is not clear from the above structure. Since the contact between the steel ball 3 and the sliding surfaces 2a and 4C is a point contact, the sliding surfaces 2a and 4C contact each other during use.
There was a problem in that C was worn out, resulting in looseness.

Considering the current situation in which recent microscopes require high precision, with errors in the rotating center of the revolver and the objective lens mounting surface being within 10μ and 3μ, respectively,
The above problems were extremely serious.

7 is an annular spring washer having an outer peripheral part 7a with a slope and an inner peripheral part 7b with a slope, as shown in FIG. 2, and 9. As shown in the figure, the outer peripheral part 7a with the slope abuts against the concave part 4b, and the inner peripheral part 7b with five slopes abuts the steel ball 6, and the whole part curves toward the concave part 4b between the concave part 4b and the steel ball 6. is mediated by
As a result, the rotating member 4 is positioned relative to the steel ball 6 to maintain rotational center accuracy, and the rotating member 4 is pressed outward in the axial direction (diagonally lower right in FIG. 2), and the steel ball 6 is Pressure is applied to the concave portion 5a of the retaining screw 5.

Since the revolver according to the present invention is constructed as described above, during use, for example, the sliding surface 2a of the stationary side member 2 and the sliding surface 4C of the rotating side member 4 may be worn out and play may occur. Even if this occurs, the backlash is immediately absorbed by the elastic action of the spring washer 7, that is, the action of pressing the rotating member 4 outward in the axial direction without reducing the degree of curvature of the spring washer 7 itself.

Furthermore, even if the surface of the conical concave portion 5a of the cap screw 5 and the sloped inner circumferential portion 7b of the spring washer 7 are worn and loose, the elastic action of the spring washer 7, that is, the curvature of the spring washer 7 itself The backlash is immediately absorbed by the action of pressing and moving the steel ball 6 toward the concave portion 5a while reducing the degree of movement.

In this case, the contact between the surface of the concave portion 5a and the steel ball 6 and the contact between the inclined inner circumferential portion 7b of the spring washer 7 and the steel ball 6 are always maintained, and the state of wear on each contact surface is uniform, so that rotation is prevented. The accuracy of the rotation center of the side member 4 is maintained.

Thus, due to the action of the spring washer 7, the fixed side member 2
Any backlash that may occur between the rotary member 4 and the rotary member 4 is always removed, and the accuracy of the center of rotation of the rotary member 4 is maintained.

In the above embodiment, the spring washer 7 is interposed between the conical recess 4b of the rotating member 4 and the steel ball 6, but the spring washer 7 is interposed between the conical recess 5a of the cap screw 5 and the steel ball 6. Similar effects can be obtained by interposing a spring washer 7 between the two.

As described above, in the microscope revolver according to the present invention, play that may occur between the stationary side member and the rotating side member is always removed, and the accuracy of the center of rotation of the rotating side member is maintained. This allows it to maintain high precision over a long period of time and has excellent durability.
