As an example of a case where it is necessary to detect and measure the tension of a traveling yarn, when winding a fiber yarn, the tension of the yarn traveling to a winding machine is detected, and based on this, the winding conditions of the winding machine are determined. There is tension detection and measurement when changing settings.

The winding tension control at this time is such that the traversing yarn 1 intermittently contacts the detection guide 3 of the tension detector 6 near the traversing end as it traverses, causing distortion of the spring-like body 4. The gauge 5 is strained, and the tension controller 7 is operated in accordance with the amount of strain, and its output is controlled by controlling the rotational speed of a drive section (not shown) of the spindle shaft 13 of the winder 14.

このようにして巻取張力は所定値に制御される。In this way, the winding tension is controlled to a predetermined value.

In such a winder, when the winder is operated under conditions where the traverse period of the traverse guide 8 of the winder 14 is extremely long, tension cannot be detected under conditions suitable for winding condition control. Something happens that isn't there.

The present invention was developed with the aim of providing a tension measuring device that can detect the tension of a winding machine at a desired cycle without being restricted by the traverse cycle of the yarn. It has also been found that the tension measuring device according to the invention can be effectively used for measuring the tension of a running yarn other than the tension measuring device for controlling a winding machine.

Tension measurement is carried out by rotating the rotating guide 17 in the direction of arrow A, so that the yarn running between guides 15 and 16 is
The detection guide 18 can be continuously moved by making it non-contact with the detection guide 18 as shown in the figure, or by actively bending it in a dogleg shape at a predetermined period and pressing it against the detection guide 18 as shown in figure b. It is used to strain the yarn, convert the amount of strain into an electrical signal, and measure the tension value of the yarn.

In addition, when the rotating guide 17 is rotated in accordance with the running direction of the yarn as described above, it is possible to obtain the effect that the loss of tension of the yarn in the rotating guide 17 is extremely small. If 15 is also made into a rotating roll, tension detector 1
The tension loss at 9 is even less.

When the detection guide 18 is pressed in the direction of arrow B, the strain gauge 22 attached to the spring-like integral body 21 is also distorted, so the distortion is converted into an electrical signal, amplified by an amplifier 23, and sent to the indicator 24.

As explained above, the tension measuring device according to the present invention is
At a predetermined period, the traveling yarn is actively bent in a dogleg shape between two yarn guides, and the yarn tension in this bent state is measured by a detection guide that is in contact with the yarn in this state. Since it is detected as pressure, it is used in a winding machine. For example, in FIG. 1, the tension detector 6 is removed and the tension measuring device 19 according to the present invention shown in FIG. By providing the traverse guide 2 on the yarn feeding side of the traverse guide 2 and supplying its output to the tension controller 7, the tension of the winding machine can be controlled regardless of the cycle of the traverse guide 8. A sharp effect can be obtained.
