Abstract

PURPOSE:To stably separate various kinds of sheets by interlocking a separating roller with a sheet guide member and projecting the separating roller to the sheet guide member by a fixed amount. CONSTITUTION:A shaft holding means 21 is rotatably mounted on a shaft 15 fixed to a reversing roller 6, and the other end of the shaft holding means 21 is rotatably supported on a shaft 20. The reversing roller 6 is pressed downward by a spring 23. The shaft holding means 21 is moved up and down by rotating a shaft 19 to which an eccentric cam 22 is fixed, so as to adjust the vertical position of the roller 6 and obtain a proper gap with a roller 5 rotating forward. The roller 6 is projected out of an opening 141 of a guide plate 14 by a fixed amount regardless of the position of the roller 6, and the roller 6 is interlocked with the guide plate 14, which can reduce the diameter of a roller for separation so as to lessen the bending of the leading end of the sheet.

Conventionally, in this glazed sheet separation and conveyance device, a sheet guide plate that guides the sheet to the sheet separation and conveyance roller that separates the sheet is fixed to the device body, and the sheet to be conveyed is controlled by its thickness and quality. Sheet separation/conveyance port
It is necessary to improve the reliability of the separation action by adjusting the gap between the rollers. However, the positional relationship between the sheet separation/conveyance roller and the guide plate differs depending on the type of sheet due to the adjustment of the gap between the rollers. Therefore, it is difficult to adjust the best position, and if it is not done properly, the tip of the ore sheet may break, or there may be problems such as a distorted sound. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In view of these drawbacks, it is an object of the present invention to provide a novel sheet separation and conveyance device that is improved.

First, the transport path of the sheet material will be described. The sheet material 2, which is conveyed in synchronization with the image on the photosensitive drum 1, is stacked on a sheet stacking table 6 and a guide plate 14 attached to the apparatus. There is a sheet presser 16 at the top of the stacked sheet materials, which presses the lowest sheet material against the conveyance roller 4, so the rotation of the roller 4 causes the forward rotation roller 5 (conveyance roller) 5 and the reverse rotation roller (Separation roller) The sheet material is sent to the roller 7 by the normal rotation roller 5.

Even if a plurality of sheets stacked at this time collide with the forward rotation roller 5 and the reverse rotation roller 6, the upper stage side is blocked by the reverse rotation roller 6, and only the lowest sheet is conveyed. The sheet material sent to the conveyance roller 7 is sent to the photosensitive drum 1, and the image is transferred from the photosensitive drum 1 to the sheet material by the transfer distortion device 8. Further, the image is fixed on the sheet material by the sheet conveyor belt 9 to the fixing device 10, and the sheet is discharged by the sheet discharge roller 11.

Further, in order to adjust the gap t (Fig. 6) between the reverse rotation roller 6 and the normal rotation roller (5 in Fig. 1), an eccentric cam 22 is fixed near the center of a shaft 19 rotatably attached to the main body of the device. This rotation moves the shaft holder 21 up and down to adjust the vertical position of the reverse rotation roller 6 and to obtain an appropriate gap with the normal rotation roller 5.

Therefore, in order to adjust the gap between the reversing rollers 6, the shaft holder 21 is moved up and down by rotating the knob 24, and the reversing rollers 6 are moved up and down, and at the same time, the guide plate 14 is also moved in conjunction with the shaft 15.

Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4, the protrusion tA of the reversing roller 5B from the guide 14 is always constant regardless of the position of the reversing roller 6.

Ideally, the gap B between the guide plate 14 and the forward roller 5 should be equal to the thickness of the sheet material, but as the gap B becomes larger, it may hit the surface of the reverse roller 6 as shown in Figure 4. The leading edge of the sheet is prone to bending and folding.

The amount of B is usually adjusted to suit the thickness of the thick sheet.
For example, when setting Q and 3mm, in the conventional case where the guide plate is fixed, a thin sheet is used, and in the case of fC, B is one pair of A
Since the amount of B is adjusted so that it becomes large, the amount of B is too large and the tip of the sheet turns over and bends. However, when the guide plate 14 and the reversing roller 6 are linked, By setting the thickness (always constant) when conveying a 0.05mm sheet, you only need to adjust the B amount to the optimum value for that sheet by rotating the knob 24 (Fig. 2).Also, when conveying a 0.6rILrn thick sheet If the above Bji glass is about Q, 25
A good gap can be created and stable sheet feeding can be achieved by simply adjusting the width of the sheet to 0 mm.In particular, thin sheets are weak and tend to curl up at the tip, so adjust the protrusion of the reversing roller 6. (The amount of protrusion can be reduced) and stable conveyance is possible.

By interlocking the reversing roller 6 and the guide plate 14 in this manner, the diameter of the separation roller can be reduced, and the apparatus can be made more compact. That is, as shown in FIG. 5, the smaller the illustrated angle θ of the roller 6, the less folding of the leading edge of the sheet occurs. In other words, the sheet that enters in the direction opposite to q will not be folded. Therefore, in order to make the sheet less likely to fold, the radius r must be increased or the value of the gap C must be decreased.

Further, since the guide plate 14 can be supported on the shaft of the reversing roller B, the positional relationship between the two can be accurately determined.

As explained above, according to the structure of the present invention, the separation roller and the sheet guide member are movable in conjunction with each other, so that the amount of protrusion of the separation roller with respect to the sheet guide member can be kept constant, and the thickness of the sheet can be kept constant. Stable transportation is possible regardless of the length of the load.
