Abstract

PURPOSE:To heighten efficiency of circulation and increase the speed of transferring parcels in a vertical transfer apparatus for parcels by coupling each one end of paired trays to a common shaft, the other end tereof being coupled to a tray drive line so as to vary a driving line route. CONSTITUTION:A driving line 3 starts rising in response to a signal informing passing a downstream point of a transport line 4 for a transport material 1, and a flexible tray 2 is lifted. The transport material 1 drops on a tray 2 at a point A. At a point B, the left and right going direction of the driving line 3 is changed to incline the driving line 3 toward the transport line 5, which causes an increase of opening angle of trays 9-1, 9-2 of the flexible tray 2. At a point C, the tray is levelled, and at a point D, the transport material 1 is slid onto the transport line 5 to be transferred. After that, the flexible tray 2 is decreased in opening angle and restored to its initial state. In this arrangement, the transport material can be circulated efficiently and at high speed.

- At the same time, the objects being transported on the transport line are transferred to a transport line located in the h direction of this line and located on either the left or right side in the direction of movement of this line. To do this, first, use a vertical 7-tar etc. to -carry,
The problem is to lift up the conveyed object in the vertical direction, then move it horizontally in the direction of movement of this conveyance line (toward the left or right), and then transfer it to the conveyance line located above. It was in continuous motion, resulting in inefficient vertical transfer.

When the conveyance object 1 passes the downstream point of the conveyance line 4 (the point of conveyance line /4J: where the conveyance object 1 joins the flexible disk tray 2 at point A in FIG. 3), the signal Based on this, the drive line 3 starts its upward movement. That is, the flexible ν tray 2 also starts h* from the 0 point, which is the origin. Then, at point A in FIG. 3, the conveyed object 1 falls onto the flexible tray 2. (Transferring the conveyed object from the conveyance line 4 to the flexible tray 2) The conveyed object 1r climbs up the hill on this flexible tray 2 and reaches B in Fig. 3.
Go to the point. When the drive line 3 reaches this point B, as shown in FIG. 3, the two drive lines on the side of the transport line 5 that diverge start to incline. Therefore, flexible
When the tray 2 passes point B, the distance between the drive lines gradually increases depending on the position of the guide roller (not shown), and the opening/closing angle k of the trays 9-1 and 9-2 gradually increases accordingly. Furthermore, this flexible tray 2
The transport line itself also slopes toward the branching conveyance line 5 side. Then, when L rises to point 0, tray 9-
The opening/closing angle of 1.9-2 is approximately 180°, and the inclination of the flexible tray itself is also maximum.
