Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は主として自動2輪車その他の車両用のエンジン
における吸気装置に関する。
従来この1lIIV7&置として、エンジンの1個のシ
リンダに、−次気化器に連る第1吸気通路の下流端の第
1v&気弁と、二次気化器に連る第2晰気通路の下流端
の$12@気弁と【並設すると共に両@気通路をその中
間部の連通路を介して互に連通させ、かくて顔二次気化
器の不作動に際し、腋−次気化器から練熟11&気通路
内に得られる新気の一部を該連通路を介して葭第2吸気
通路内に導かれて該通路内の^留ガス成分【希釈させ、
燃錦改轡f:lするようにした式のものは提案されたが
、か−るものでは欽き返しに際しこれが該連通路を介し
て該第1@気通路鉤に導かれ勝ちである不都合を伴う・ 本発明はか−る不都合のない装Wt*ること【その目的
としたもので、エンジンの1個のシリンダに、−次気化
器に連る第1@気通路の下流端の第1吸気弁、と、二次
気化器に連る第2@気通路の下流端の第2@気弁と【並
設すると共に、内通路をその中間部の連通路を介して互
に連通させる式のものにおいて、販連通路内に1該jl
l@気過路伽からa謝2吸気通路側への流れは許容する
逆止弁を介入させることを特徴とする。
本発明実施の1例を別紙図面に付説明する。
図面で(1)はエンジンのシリンダ、(2)はその内部
のピストン(3)はその上山の燃焼w1を示し、該燃焼
室(3)の上向に一次気化器(4)に連る第1Wk気通
路(5)の下流端の第1FM気弁(6)と、咳−次気化
器(4)に連動する二次気化1t(71に連る第2吸気
通路(8)の下lL1#の第2歇気弁19)とを−備の
左右1対に並設すると共に、その他側に第1排気通路顛
に連る第1排気弁■と第2排気通路αりに連る第2排気
弁Q3と【並設させ1更に前記した両吸気通路(511
81tその中間部の連通路Q4)を介して互に連通させ
る。b!!J面でaωは両吸気通路+51 (81の上
流端のエアクリーナ、輪は両気化器14+ (7)を互
ニ連動するリンク機構を示し、両気化養141 +7)
は例えば第4図示のような一度関係に互に連動すべく構
成される。
以上は従来のものと特に與らないが、本発明によれは販
M通路(14)内Vc該第1吸気道路問匈から駁畠2@
気道路(8)値への流れは許容するリード弁掴その他の
逆止弁αηを介入させ1かくて該第25a、化! (7
1O不作動に際し、該第1気化1# 14)から咳纂1
@%通路(5)内に得られる新気の一部は該連通路(1
41内の該逆止弁QDt介して該第2吸気進路(8)側
に導かれて該通路(8)円の残留ガス成分を希釈し、燃
焼改善が得られるようにした0尚、図示のものでは該連
通111I(141の絢端を互に前後に偏位させると共
に十の下流匈t@2吸気弁(9)に近接させて略鈑線方
回に一口させ1かくてii[燃焼室(3)内にスワール
を生じさせるようにし、吏fK Iに二次気化器(7)
上線で次気化器(4)に比し吸気パルプ偏に近接させて
設けてその下流−のI11!2@気−路(81を比較的
小容積とし、かくてこれに吸入される残留ガスの臘t−
’1liJ及的減少されるようにした。更にこの場合1
販第1吸気通路(5)−と葭@2吸気通銘(8)髄とで
吸気弁の炉開タイミング1@気弁径、吸気管径或は気化
−ボア往を互に相近させ1出力特性のセツティング要素
とすることが可能である。
その作IIUtll!明するに、−次気化器t41を作
動状態、二次気化器(71を不作動状態とした揚曾【考
えるに1該−次気化器(4)からその下流側の第1吸気
過m (57内に得られる新気の−Sは連通路■f:介
しテl521&気通路、(83K導かれて該通路(8)
内の残留ガス成分を希釈し、かくて燃焼改善が得られる
もので、この点は先に提案したものと特に幾らないが一
次で吹き返し【考えるに1練達通路α4内には逆止弁α
ηが存し、かくて該吠き返しが該連通路軸【介して骸第
1吸気通路(5)鉤に導かれるようなことがなく、これ
を換言すれば吸気の逆流量を減少して出力向上を得られ
る。
このように本発明によるときは両吸気通路間の連通路内
に逆圧弁な備えるもので、吠き返しによる不都合を無く
して出力を向上させることが出来ると共にその構成は簡
単で廉価に得られる等の効果rt1iする。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. エンジンの1個のシリンダに、−次気化赫に連る第1吸
    気通路の下流端の第1吸気弁と、二次気化器に連る第2
    吸気通路の下流端の第2吸気弁とを並設すると共に、内
    通路をその中間部の連通路を介して互に連通させる式の
    ものにおいて、該連通路内に電線第1吸気通路側から該
    $22晰気路匈への流れは許容する逆止弁を介入させる
    ことを特徴とするエンジンの吸気装置。
