When the time C required for regeneration due to cutting edge wear, etc. is reached, the machining center lights up a red lamp and sounds a buzzer.
Informs the operator that the tool has reached the time for replacement, and when the operator is aware of this, removes the tool from the machining center.
A process was adopted to regenerate this.

The spindle 1b equipped with the tool processes the required position of the workpiece according to a predetermined program, and when the process is completed, the tool
Changer 1c moves spindle 1b according to the program.
The necessary tool 3 is changed to the spindle ltJ, and the workpiece is machined according to the program.11 When the machining is completed, the pallet 5 is moved back to the position 5b on the pallet-pool line 4. 7, on the pallet e pool line 4, one of the pallets 50 to 5 to be processed next is moved to position 5b according to the computer program, and the return is completed. The moved pallet is set at the position of the setting table 1d by a process similar to that described above, and each of the tools 3 used for the machining is Each time the tool is used for machining, the machining usage time of the tool is accumulated and stored in a computer, and when the accumulated time reaches the end of the tool's lifespan to be regenerated, it is calculated as shown in Figure 2. As shown, the computer introduces the pallet 5 with the tool holder 50a attached to the pallet pool line 4 into the setting table 1d, and the spindle 1b returns the tool to be recycled to the introduced holder 50&. Again, FIGS. 3 and 4 show another embodiment of the holder 50a in FIG. 2 in the same side view as in FIG. and 52a is the holder 50 in FIG.

The tool return method at the center is different from the conventional method in which an employee is called each time a tool needs to be regenerated. The pallet 5 is automatically returned to the pallet pool line 4 by computer control, so the operator must recycle all the tools 36% 3kl, 30, etc. on the pallet 5 on the pallet pool line 4. It is convenient because it can be processed as a necessary tool, and the operator does not have to be called irregularly depending on the machining center's convenience, but can periodically perform processing while processing the machined workpiece 7 according to a predetermined schedule. If the operator inspects the pallet 5 returned to the pallet pool line 4, the tools can be properly recovered from the machining center, and the recovered tools are recycled and sent to the machining center again. As a result, the tool return method in a machining center according to the present invention reduces the necessary distractions of the worker and streamlines the work procedure by making the above-mentioned periodic inspections possible. This makes it possible to proceed with the process, reducing work fatigue,
This contributes to improving work efficiency.
