Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent splashing of working fluid in the time the machining was resumed by installing back flow preventing device in the piping supplying the fluid to the nozzle which supply working fluid to the working position of wirecut discharge machining and preventing air to accumulate in the piping. CONSTITUTION:When a supply pump 40 is operated, the working fluid A is suctioned through back flow preventing device 50, the piping 42 and pumped through the piping 36 to the nozzle 34 and fed to the working portion of the wirecut discharge machining. The back flow prevention device 50 consists e.g. from a float valve, is installed to the end of the suction side piping 42 and is immersed in the working fluid A. When the machining is stopped and the feed pump 40 is also stopped, the working fluid in the piping 36, 42 does not flows back to the tank 44 by the function of the back flow preventing device 50. Therefore, air will not mingled in the piping and the splashing of working fluid at the time of resuming the work can be prevented.
