Abstract
PURPOSE:To control an induction generator with high performance, efficient operation and excellent rapid responsiveness by supplying the AC output of the generator through a rectifying circuit, a DC reactor and a separately-excited inverter to an AC system power source. CONSTITUTION:A reactive leading power supply RP is connected to the AC output side of an induction generator IG, and a commercial AC power source AC is connected through a rectifying circuit RF, a DC reactor DL and a separately-excited inverter IV. In this manner, the exciting current can be controlled by the power supply RP, the AC output voltage or current can be controlled by the inverter IV, and excellent responsiveness and high performance can be controlled.
