CONSTITUTION:A print timing detector is mounted at a motor, driving a printing head in a horizontal direction, or at a member coupled directly to the motor to continuously output a timing detecting pulse from a detecting coil in a detector with the power source of the motor set to ON. If a signal is detected, a first wire printing current b1 is inputted to a first electromagnet, driving a first wire 41, by means of a first timing detection pulses a1 immediately after the start signal is detected. Second, third... 7th wire printing currents b2, b3...b7 are inputted in a similar manner by means of second, third...7th timing detection pulse a2, a3...a7, respectively, and a first wire printing current b1 is then inputted in a corresponding manner by means of an 8th timing detection pulse a8.
