Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit an engine to vibrate freely so as not to generate big stress in an exhaust pipe itself by communicating the exhaust pipe and the engine through a bendable member to absorb the vibration by the bendable member.
CONSTITUTION: A fixing ring 25 is threadably fitted in an exhaust hole 23 of an engine by a stud bolt while a front edge of an exhaust pipe 16 is bendably held there between through sealing members 26, 27. When the engine starts and vibrates, the front edge 16a of the exhaust pipe 16 swings or moves back and forth centering around a flange 31 supported elastically by a rubber bush of the rear edge. In this case, when the exhaust pipe 16 inclines to the engine 3, a flange member 16c inclines pushing a sealing member 26 of one side a sealing member 27 of the other side in a coupling portion of the engine 3 and the exhaust pipe 16. But, since sealing members 26, 27 are always kept to contact with the both side of the flange 16c with its elasticity, air-tight condition in a passage is maintained, whereby, the vibration is absorbed.
