Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a good damping or interrupting effect showable by installing a mass member, having the specified mass, in an elastic diaphragm partitioning a balance chamber, in case of a fluid-sealed type vibro-isolating bush for an engine mount or the like for a fluid flow engine car. CONSTITUTION:In case of a fluid-sealed type vibro-isolating bush provided with an inner cylinder fitting 10, an outer cylinder fitting 12, a rubber elastic body 14, a void 16, a pressure receiving chamber 28, a balance chamber 30 and a noncompressive fluid, a mass member, having the specified mass, is being installed in a rubber elastic diaphragm partitioning the blancing chamber 30. Consequently, if tuning frequency in a throttle passage 40 is set down to the low frequency, a good damping effect can be brought into full play against vibration in a low frequency area being inputted into a bush radial direction on the basis of liquid-column resonance action of a noncompressive fluid flowing in the throttle passage 40. On the other hand, when characteristic frequency of the mass member 48 is set down to the higher frequency than the tuning frequency of the throttle passage 40, vibration in a high frequency area is made favorably interruptible on the basis of damping action by resonance of the mass member 48.
