Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve workability by a method wherein flexible inner die is put between held by the split outer die, and pressure medium is inroduced in the inner die and FRP material to solidify. CONSTITUTION:An inner die 10 is wound with FRP material W, and is put between the outer dies 20a and 20b, and the outer dies are tightened by bolts to hold the inner die 10, and the cover 13 of the inner die 10 is fixed to the outer dies 20a and 20b. Pressing medium such as air is introduced to the interior of the inner die 10 and FRP material W through pipes 12 and 25. Then, the inner die 10 is expanded to press the FRP material W to fit tightly into the groove 22 of the outer dies 20a and 20b, and the FRP material W will hold the coiled form along the grooves 11 and 22. Under this condition the whole of outer dies 20a and 20b are put into the oven, etc., and are heated to harden the FRP material finally.
