Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable a wide range fuel injection control of high reliability by use of only one reference signal by controlling an injection timing by means of a signal which is produced once for every two or more turns of an engine and another signal synchronous with a turning angle of a crank shaft.
CONSTITUTION: In a six-cylinder engine wherein fuel injection occurs in a sequence of 1, 5, 3, 6, 2 and 4, specific injection timings and periods are respectively written in registers 11, 14 of driving pulse generation mechanisms 16 of associated cylinders. A counter 9 which is reset by a 720° reference signal (a) counts an output of a signal detector 5. When the result is equal to a value stored by the register 11, a comparator 10 generates a signal to set a FF15 for producing an injection valve driving pulse output (e) and simultaneously starting a counter 14. Once a result of a counter 14 which is provided by counting a clock signal (d) is equal to a value stored in the register 14, the FF15 is reset to interrupt the injection.
