Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve responsive property of fuel injection control by starting to open a fuel injection valve in synchronization with rotation synchronizing signal of an engine while figuring out the valve opening time and controlling the closing of the injection valve according to the figured-out result.
CONSTITUTION: Respective output signals of an intake flow sensor 3, intake temperature sensor 5, rotation sensor 9, engine cooling water temperature sensor 10 and air-fuel ratio sensor 12 are supplied to the input of a control circuit 7 to figure out an optimum fuel injection amount for controlling valve opening time of each injector 8. Pulse time in the minimum fixed injection time set to a value smaller than the sum of ineffective injection time of the injector 8 and the minimum injection time necessary for combustion of the engine in synchronization with synchronizing signal of the engine is applied to the injector 8, while the optimum injection time for the injector 8 is figured out within this minimum fixed injection time. The valve of the injector 8 is controllably closed on the basis of this figured-out result.
