Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the edge part of a stone material to be automatically cut in arcuate form by installing a rotary disc mechanism onto the grinding wheel holer of the captioned device and allowing the grinding wheel to maintain its reciprocating arcuate motion.
CONSTITUTION: The stone material 73 such as grave stone etc. is loaded on the rotary table 74 on a bed 1, and the slide box 4 on a column 2 is raised, and the center line of a slide shaft 15 staying in the contact state onto the stone material 73 is located downward from the upper surface of the stone material 73 by the radial distance "r" to be ground. When a rotary disc 22 is turned, the revolution is transmitted to the slide shaft 15 through a swing rod 26, and the slide shaft 15 and a turret device T perform reciprocating motion of approximately 90° turning angle. On the other hand, the slide shaft 15 advances along the edge line the stone material 73 in accordance with the reciprocating rotary movement, and the edge of the stone material 73 is worked automatically in arcuate form with the said motion.
