Abstract
PURPOSE:To start and stop each output of the multiple output converter severally and independently by short-circuiting or opening the output side of an iron resonance circuit. CONSTITUTION:Input voltage is given to a DC-AC converting circuit 1, and the output is forwarded to the primary side of a transformer 2. One of the output at the secondary side of the transformer 2 is changed into constant voltage by means of the iron resonance circuit 3, and sent to load A (a) through a rectifying circuit 4 and a smoothing circuit 5. The other of the output at the secondary side of the transformer 2 is given to the iron resonance circuit 3, and forwarded to load B (b) through a short-circuit element 7, a rectifying circuit 4 and a smoothing circuit 5. A circuit 8 for controlling the short-circuit element 7 is connected to the short-circuit element 7. With the converter constituted in this manner, all the input voltage is applied to the reactors 9 of the iron resonance circuits 3 even when the output of the iron resonance corcuits or the output A or output B of the converter is short-circuited, and it has a drooping characteristic of which input currents do not increase extremely and output voltage reaches zero.
