Abstract

CONSTITUTION: An anti-revolution plate 8 is mounted in an annular gap between a rotor 5 and a casing 1, on the side where leaking fluid flows in, and an inner diaphram ring 3, holding a clearance corresponding to a clearance between the rotor 5 and a labyrinth 7. This whirl stop 8 is mounted on the casing 1 and the inner diaphram 3 axially or inclined contrary to the rotary direction of the rotor 5, looking from the flowing in side. If the anti-revolution plate 8 is mounted in quantity in the annular gap to the rotor 5, hydraulic fluid given revolving energy collides with the whirl stop 8 just before it flows into the annular gap as leaking fluid and its revolving energy is consumed.
