Abstract
PURPOSE: To dispense with separate punching of roller retaining holes one by one, improve the efficiency of work and the yield of material, secure safety and rationalize production facilities, by making the roller retaining holes at the same time when punching out a sectorial retainer body.
CONSTITUTION: To manufacture a retainer, a plurality of roller retaining holes 2 are first opened in a material A at the same time when a retainer body 1 is punched out of the material by a press. After the retainer body 1 is annularly shaped, both its ends 3, 4 are overlapped with each other and integrally conjoined to each other by butt welding or the like. The bottom 5 of the annular retainer body 1 is bent by a press to complete the retainer. Since the roller retaining holes 2 are made at the same time when the retainer body 1 is punched out of the material A, the purposes are attained.
