Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve thermal efficiency by a system wherein heat energy of exhaust gas of a heat engine using pressurized air for medium gas is recovered by adding or attaching water to a portionor the entirety of the pressurized air.
CONSTITUTION: Air is sucked into a first stage AC1 of an air compressor through a suction pipe 3 and discharged from a discharge pipe 4 as intermediate pressurized gas. Pressurized water is preheated by an intermediate cooler IC through a pipe 2 and a portion of the water is injected into intermediate pressurized gas 6 through a pipe 14. The remaining water is through a pipe 14 mixed with water from a pressurized cool water tower EXT by a heat recoverer R2 to recover heat at medium-low temperature level and circulated to the pressurizin coole water tower EXT. Gas having water injected is sucked into a second stage AC2 of the air compressor through a suction pipe 6 and enters a heat recoverer R1 through a discharge pipe 7 and the pressurized cool water tower EXT. Medium gas having recovered heat with heat recoverer R1 is introduced into a combustor CC through a pipe 9 and combustion gas is introduced into an output turbine ET through a conduit 10.
