Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform electrical operation and manual operation without any changeover operation, by installing a motor which drives a gear with an eccentric cam which moves a small aperture lens for parfocality, in the shaft of a knob for manual operation or in the knob. CONSTITUTION:Knobs for manual operation 4 are firmly fitted to both extruded sections of a shaft 2 supported by a main body of device 1. A motor with a reduction gear mechanism 5 is fixed at the inner side of the shaft 2 with a washer 6. A small aperture lens for parfocality 14 is supported by a lens frame 13 and inserted into a supporting cylinder 12 which is to be fixed to the main body 1. When the electric power is utilized, the motor 5 rotates a gear with an eccentric cam 8 through a driving gear 7. The rotation of the cam 8 rocks an rocking lever 10, for example, downward, and a pin installed to a frame 15 is moved downward, and then, the frame 13 is moved along the optical axis. When the frame is moved, a channel 12a of the cylinder 12 cooperates with the pin 15. When manually operated, the knob 4 is rotated by rotating the gear together with the shaft 2, and, in the same way, the frame 13 is moved. Moreover, to contrive an economization in space, the motor 5 can be installed to the inside of the knob 4.
