Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a robust detecting element for electricity conduction time of simple construction by heating a resistor to cause a change in its properties by conducting electricity and changing the resistance time with lapse of heating time. CONSTITUTION:A heat resistant insulation film 3 is formed by a screen printing method or the like on a plate-like heating element 2 which is connected with lead wires 1 at both ends and evolves heat when conducted with electricity, and further two kinds of metallic thin films 4, 5 are superposed and provided in a laminar state thereon by a vapor deposition method, a sputtering method or a plating method. When electricity is conducted to the heating element 2 through the leads 1, 1, the element 2 evolves heat and alloying of the films 4, 5 progresses, resulting in successively changing resistance values of the metallic thin film layers. As a result, the total time when electricity is conducted to the apparatus is known by detecting the change in said resistance value through electrodes 6, 6.
