Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the determination of an injection angle without lowering a jetting power, in descaling a steel sheet with water jet, by forming a slit in a cone arranged in internally contact with a case, and injecting a pressurized fluid through the slit.
CONSTITUTION: The top end part 9 of a nozzle lot 2 is in internally contact with a cone 7 at the top end of a casing 1. At the top end part 9 is formed a slit 3. The nozzle lot 2 may be tightened onto the casing 1 by a tap plate 5 and a nut 4, for instance. A fluid to be injected passes through an adaptor 6, flows into the casing 1, passes through the hole 8 of the tap plate 5 and a passage surrounded with the surface of the cone 7 and the surface of the slit 3, and is directly injected in a linear state. At this time, an injection angle is determined by settling the inclination θ of the cone 7, so that the desired water jet can be injected.
