Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain highly accurate and portable electronic barometer by transforming atmospheric state into an electric signal, sensing the viriation in said electric signal, and forcasting the weather. CONSTITUTION:Input data of external pressure (atmospheric pressure) and humidity are transformed into analog voltages by an absolute pressure sensor 10 and a humidity sensor 11, respectively. The outputs of said devices are converted into digital signals by A/D converters 12 and 13, and inputted into a microcomputer 14. In the microcomputer 14, the variation in the input signal in time domain is computed in a operation processing part 16 by preliminarily prepared program. The result is compared with the data stored in a memory part 15, and the weather is forcast. The result is displayed on a display part 17. By utilizing a constitution wherein the compact and light weight solid state sensors are used, the portable, highly accurate barometer can be obtained.
