Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve AC and DC voltage characteristic by keeping a lamp voltage constant through a short-circuit control thereof with a triac connected to an armature coil along with a short-circuit thereof according to a battery voltage. CONSTITUTION:A total output tap A of an armature coil 1 is connected to a battery 3 and a DC load 8 through a rectifier 4 and an intermediate tap S to a lamp load 6. A voltage adjustor 5 comprising a triac 300, a lamp voltage controlling circuit 100 and a battery voltage controlling circuit 200 is provided. When an output to be fed to a lamp 2 increases, the triac 300 is short-circuited with the control circuit 100 to bypass an excessive output while when a charge output increases, the triac 300 is short-circuited with the control circuit 200 to bypass a positive half-wave output. This always controls the lamp voltage and the battery voltage constant thereby extending the life.
