Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance heat resistance of a calcium codified zinc phosphate film and close adhesiveness of a polyolefine coating by treating said film with an aqueous solution with a specific composition containing each ions of Ca, Zn, Fe, phosphoric acid and nitric acid. CONSTITUTION:This treating liquid applied to a surface of iron or steel cleaned by degreasing, pickling or the like. Said treating liquid contains, in the %w/v basis, 0.4-2.0% Ca ion, 0.2-1.5% Zn ion, 0.001-0.5% Fe ion, 0.4-10% PO4 ion and 1-10% NO3 ion as essential components. Further, a wt.ration of Ca ion/Zn ion is 1.0-3.5 and a wt.ratio of NO3 ion/PO4 ion is 0.5-10. By using said treating aqueous solution, a calcium modified zinc phosphate film is formed on a surface of iron or steel and used as an painting undercoat for painting a polyolefine powdery resin on an upper layer thereof by a heat fusing method.
