Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a powder with uniform particle distribution by a method wherein a substance to be crushed coexisted with an org. solvent is crushed by an atomizer mill equipped with balls moving vertically and the crushed substance is taken out along with the solvent.
CONSTITUTION: A rate earth element-cobalt type permanent magnet alloy preliminarily crushed roughly is thrown into a crushing cylinder 3 and, while a constant amount of an org. solvent is flowed from an inflow port 1, a rotary shat 4 is rotated. When said rotary shaft 4 is rotated, balls 6 are moved vertically by stirring arms 5 and the aforementioned alloy is finely crushed by impact and a particle crushed to a predetermined optimum particle size is continuously taken out to the outside of the cylinder from an outflow port 2 along with the org. solvent.
