Abstract
PURPOSE: To produce easily the alloy of particle dispersion type in which the particles have been dispersed uniformly, by casting altermately the molten metal and the particles in the mold in the revolving magnetic field or by adding the particles in the revolving magnetic field after the molten metal has been cast in the mold.
CONSTITUTION: The generating device 2 for revolving nagnetic field is installed at the outer circumference of the mold 1 provided with the bottom made of gypsum. This generating device for revolving magnetic fidld is a generating device for dipolar revolving magnetic field and water-cooled stainless steel pipes are equipped at the outer circumference of the mold 1 in the coil form. After the mold 1 has been preheated to about 80°C, the molten metal 3 and the particles 4 are cast alternately into the mold 1 while generating the revolving magnetic field with the generating device 2 for revolving magnetic field. Or, after the moldten metal 3 has been cast, the particles 4 are added. The molten metal 3 and the particles 4 are agitated electromagnetically, in the revolving magnetic field so that the alloy of particle dispersion type in which the particles 4 have been dispersed uniformly, can be produced easily
