Abstract
PURPOSE:To maximize active power within runback limit value by limiting load power within an allowable operation range while bringing reactive power to zero when cooling water is abnormal. CONSTITUTION:The detected output of an abnormality detector 12 for cooling water, i.e. runback signals, is inputted to respective another input of the first-third and gates 14-16. When armature currents exceed a predetermined limit, load is run back by the output of an armature current detecting circuit 11. When reactive power is detected by means of a reactive power detector 13, a Var is run back in response to the lead and lag. Accordingly, the maximum active power can be obtained even at the time of runback.
