Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to manage electric power generated by batteries equally with other generators of thermal power, nuclear power, hydraulic power, etc., in an electric power system by a method wherein when system load, namely system frequency varied, quantity of generation is regulated corresponding to capacity of the generator. CONSTITUTION:When no variation is generated in the system and accordingly no variation is generated in system frequency, no difference exists between an output signal of a frequency setting device 13 and an output signal of a frequency detector 15 to make output of an adder 14 inputting both the output signals to zero, and accordingly to make output of a regulation ratio operator 16 to zero. Accordingly output to be generated by the batteries is decided according to output of an effective power setting device 8. When a load is charged on the power system, system frequency of the power system 5 varies, and accordingly an error is generated between the output signal of the frequency detector 15 and the output signal of the frequency setting device 13 to output an error signal from the adder 14. As a result, a signal being multiplied the error signal outputted from the adder 14 with the regulation ratio is outputted from the regulation ratio operator 16, and it is added to an adder 9 to indicate increasing or decreasing of generating power.
