Abstract
PURPOSE:To supply a TV receiver of large-sized screen with low price, by realizing picture reproduction having almost twice as the scanning line number of a TV signal without using one field delay circuit. CONSTITUTION:A signal in odd number field is applied to an input IN and a switch 51 is selected to the A side. When a switch 52 is selected to the A side in the timing of the 1st horizontal scanning line signal appeared to the output of a H/2 delay circuit 26 via a 1H delay circuit 32, the next scanning line signal appears at the output of a H/2 delay circuit 25. Two scanning line signals are compressed for time by 1/2 at T/2 compression circuits 34, 35 and scanning lines between two scanning lines are obtained at an output OUT via addition circuits 52, 51. When a half the period TH of the scanning line elapses, the switch 52 is selected to the B side. Hereafter, the switch 52 is switched to A and B every TH/2 alternately. A switch 51 is switched to the B side and a switch 53 is switched alternately A to/from B in the period of TH/2.
