Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a control device for a resistance welding machine permitting safe, sure, and precision time controlling free from explosion by so constituting the same that with respect to sequence control means in particular the slope control can be shifted to the next tine control upon thorough completion of the former control.
CONSTITUTION: In the above-described control device, staircase voltage which is a slope control output and reference bias for detecting the completion of down slope are compared by using an OP amplifier 25 in a slope control circuit which is a part of phase control circuit. When it lowers down to below the reference detection value, the control is shifted to the holding time which is the next sequence in synchronization with a welding electric power source. Hence, the amplifier 25 of current differential type or voltage differential type is used. In the case of the current differential type, if the staircase voltage A of terminals 22 and the current value flowed in by a resistance 23 are larger than the current value flowed in by a VDD12V and a resistance 24, it is judged that the device is under down slope control. When the staircase waveform drops synchronously with the welding power source and the flowing in current value drops below the reference value, the output of the amplifier 25 goes to a high level and the down slope completes.
