Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture with a simple construction while improving the cooling effect with a higher heat exchange efficiency by sealing a can within a heat pipe working liquid, with a cylinder communicating to a stator can projected outside of a frame. CONSTITUTION:A motor frame 13 and a stator can 14 arranged at the inner diameter section of a stator form a stator chamber 15 with a sealed construction surrounding a stator core 12 and a stator winding 16. A cylinder 17 is projected outside the motor frame 13 communicating to the stator chamber 15 while the stator chamber is sealed with a heat pipe working liquid 19. A heat pipe is constructed having a heat receiving section 20 in the coil of the stator and a radiation section 21 on the cylinder 17.
