Abstract

PURPOSE: To purge the supply of foreign matters, water contents and the like in the liquid fuel by suspending down an oil feed pipe to the bottom part of an oil feed pipe from a pouring port and causing a turning flow of the fuel exhausted from the oil feed pipe within the tank.
CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical oil storage tank 2 opens a cock 6 at its lower end, a pouring port 3 at is upper end an oil delivering pipe 4 at its side trunk part. The tip end of an oil feed pipe 7 suspended from the pouring port 3 provided at the outer peripheral part on the upper surface is bent so that it opens in the circumferential direction within the tank. When a liquid fuel is poured into the tank through the pouring port 3, the fuel naturally falls into the oil feed pipe 7 formed in a sustantially L-shape and flows into the bent part of the lower end, and a turning flow of the fuel is formed within the tank during the supply of the fuel. Accordingly, foreign matters mixed into the fuel are not dispersed, and hence pure fuel is constantly supplied from a take-out port 8 to the oil feed pipe 4.
