Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the oil pouring by projecting the lower half of edge of the oil inlet opened in the side surface of the engine case.
CONSTITUTION: In the rear side surface of the case 4a of an engine 4, there is provided an oil inlet a for pouring lubricant therethrough, which oil inlet A comprising a screw hole 6 to be covered with a cap 7. The lower half of the edge of a cap seat 8 formed on the periphery of the screwn hole 6 is projected to form an integral wall 9 with the case 4a. This wall 9 serves to support temporarily the oil outlet of the oil container such as an oil jug 10 and lead it to the screw hole, thereby facilicating the lubricant supply work by hand. Even if a small amount of lubricant falls outside the oil inlet A, the wall 9 prevents it from dropping on the earth.
