Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure automatic detection for bearing fault and to eliminate the detecting work, by calculating the threshold value from the output of an acceleration meter for each change of a subject bearing. CONSTITUTION:An output x(t) of a vibration acceleration meter provided to a rotor bearing is led into a digital filter part 2. Then signals m(t), s(t) which are averaged within a prescribed time plus signals h1(t), h2(t)... which are processed by plural filters having the impulse response property expressed by either one of +1, 0 and -1 are produced and delivered. Each output signal is multiplied by a prescribed coefficient respectively through a deciding circuit 3, and the total signal f(t) is calculated to obtain a signal y(t) which is averaged within a short prescribed time. Then a signal d(t) that can discriminate the presence or absence of a fault signal of bearing is delivered based on the relation between a signal y(t) and signals m(t) and s(t).
