Abstract
PURPOSE:To both improve heat conduction and prevent carbon diffusion in an anode, by previously forming a rhenium layer to the junction surface of a tungsten plate and graphite base material of molybdenum plate. CONSTITUTION:A rhenium layer in prescribed thickness is formed to the junction surface between a prescribed shaped tungsten plate or, for instance, tungsten plate constituted by thermally pressing at high temperature of 1,600 deg.C and high pressure of 250kg/cm<2> and a molybdenum compound plate of graphite base material. Then the above layer is placed on a prescribed shaped graphite base material, thermally pressed as a whole unit in the inactive atmosphere, for instance, nitrogen a atmosphere at low temperature of 1,400 deg.C low pressure of 200kg/cm<2> and integrally jointed.
