Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the amount of extra-banking concrete for the head of pile while the quanlity of concrete in the head portion of the pile by a method in which the level of a drain hole on a casing side is matched with the set level of the head of pile, concrete is placed in water in an excavated pit, and as the head of the concrete place rises, a slime-mixed concrete is poured and overflowed into the pit.
CONSTITUTION: A casing 2 whose side is provided with a drain hole 1 is set in such a way that the lower end of the drain hole 1 is positioned at a level same as or slighly (by a distance of h) higher than the set level P of pile head. Then, concrete C is placed in water in an excavated pit 3 through a tremie tube 7, whereupon the side area of the casing 2 is excavated by a power shovel bucket 9 and a drain pit 10 is excavated. When the concrete C continues to placed, slime-mixed concrete C' overflows into the drain pit 10.
