Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the size by connecting the positive and negative electrode electrically to a planar battery frame to form a battery construction unit and arranging such that only one electrode will face each other through the electrolyte liquid thereby laminating a plurality of unit batteries in planar. CONSTITUTION:An air electrode 11 and a negative electrode 12 are connected electrically to a plastic electrode frame 10 to form a battery construction unit 14. Then they are arranged in an electrolytic liquid chamber frame 17 having partitioned electrolytic chambers such that the air electrode 11 of one battery construction unit will face against the negative electrode of the other battery construction unit to form a battery having the air electrode. Consequently many unit batteries can be laminated planarly and since all air electrodes are exposed to the atmosphere the air supply system isn't required resulting in the reduction of the size and the weight.
