Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the corrosion of circuit substrates or the like owing to electrolyte by securing a porous member to part of an electrode part or a battery containing part, and causing the solidification of the electrolyte by this. CONSTITUTION:A porous member 2 consisting of a porous synthetic resin sheet or the like is secured to a cathode surface 1a constituting the electrode part of a silver oxide battery 1. The member 2 is beforehand impregnated with a material which solidifies the electrolyte leaking from the battery 1 by causing chemical reaction with said electrolyte, and this member is held fixed in a dry state. In case the electrolyte leaks from the battery 1, the electrolyte meets the member 2 at the time when it moves to the direction of a circuit substrate 4 via a lead member 3. This electrolyte is absorbed by said member and changes to a solid state by chemical reaction.
