Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of print flaws and upgrade descaling properties after annealing, by removing the scale in advance when heat treating continuously the hot rolled steel strip like a belt.
CONSTITUTION: The hot rolled strip S is introduced into the first descaling equipment 1, in which the surface scale of the strip S is removed by a mechanical method for removing the scale. Subsequently, the strip S that is sent via black painting equipment to an annealing furnace 3 is annealed here, and led via cooling equipment 4 to the descaling equipment 5, in which the surface scale occurring in the after half of the process is removed. The above process keeps the steel strip product free from the print flaws on the strip caused by the surface scale that occurs in hot rolling and makes inroads into rolls.
