Abstract

PURPOSE: To accumulate a mixture in a guide cylinder to a carburetor and improve a state of combustion, by communicating another end of a sub-intake passage, with an opening of its intake passage toward the direction of a combustion chamber, to an upper part of the guide cylinder in the carburetor provided with a piston-type throttle valve.
CONSTITUTION: A guide cylinder 16 is formed partially in an intake barrel 15 of a carburetor 14 equipped in an intake passage 7 to a combustion chamber 5, and a piston-type throttle valve 17 longitudinarlly moving in the intake passage 7 is provided in the guide cylinder 16. The throttle valve 17 is provided with both a needle valve 18, inserted into a main fuel jet 19 opened to the intake passage 7 to adjust opening area, and a connecting element 21 to the upper side of which a control element arm 23 is connected.
